Stacks activated the PoX-5 hard fork at Bitcoin block 960,230 (on July 30), the consensus upgrade that lays the foundation for Bitcoin Staking. It's the first of the Satoshi Upgrades, with more to follow in August.
Now that the fork has unlocked stacked STX, here's how to restake your STX after the PoX-5 hard fork, with step-by-step instructions across four different apps. You must restake to keep earning BTC rewards.
Granite and Zest were both added to the Borrow on Bitcoin index. Among the protocols listed, Stacks has the cheapest borrowing rates.
